This is the Famed Sturdee Amesbury Dory. Hand built in R.I. This boat was built in 1985 but was completely refurbished in 2012 and not used since. All new fiberglass .7 coasts of varnish to its extensive use of mahogany. The boat is built for the committed fisherman . V shaped entry to handle rough seas with a flat bottom for stabililty while anchored or drifting. You can move around without tipping.Bottom paint to the water line not the first strake. Refurbished by a true craftsman. Absolutely flawless. The engine is a 1991 2 stroke 15HP Johnson rebuilt at the same time. Boat is 300lbs and rated for a 10HP so she really moves along with the 15.Boat comes with all stainless hardware all new lines and anchor as well as a new Coastgard kit.
