Our family has owned this boat since 2013. It spent most of it time on Payette Lake in Idaho. Great boat for water skiing and family enjoyment. Since owning the boat, we have added a swim platform and rebuilt the engine. 1959 Chris Craft Ski Boat. This is a great family boat for going cruising or water skiing. The boat has no soak bottom, the bottom was fiberglassed by a previous owner and determined to be solid and professionally done. The upholstery was restored and kept in great shape. This has been a family boat since 2013. This boat has the original Chevy 283 V8 engine that came with this model. An engine overall was performed fall of 2014, new head gaskets, water jackets and gaskets, water pump, generator, voltage regulator and hose lines were installed. New sparkplugs and battery were installed Summer 2019. OIl changes have been performed at the end of each season. A swim platform was professionally installed in spring 2014 by McCall Boatworks Trailer included along with life jackets, cushions, ropes, etc. [links]

Good condition. Here's your chance to own hull number 3 of only 11 built of this most amazing StanCraft Model. "Timing" hails from Flathead Lake, near her place of manufacture in Polston, Montana. Original hardware, Chrysler Crown 6 cylinder engine, single-axle trailer. (11f)

The 17ft Sportsman is perfect boat for small lakes and trailering. The utility design allows for recreational use and cruising with guests. This 1957 Chris Craft is powered by a 131 hp Chris Craft KFL engine that was fully re-built in 2016 by Sierra Boat Co. and has less than an hour on it of mechanical test time. This boat has an original bottom that does soak up, but a bottom replacement will be needed in the future. The varnish is in good shape, both on the deck and hull sides. This boat has been in the care of Sierra Boat for a long time and has been maintained and stored by us for use on Lake Tahoe. It is believed that this boat is original to Lake Tahoe. It does not come with a trailer. Price to sell!

This 1959 Chris Craft 19ft Silver Arrow is powered by a Chris Craft 283 engine that was converted to a 350. It is showing an original 443.4 engine hours, so the hull has that many hours of use, but the converted engine has less. more

Thanks for the information MaritimeClassics. My boat has varnished wood decks with no vinyl. The original 283 was replaced with a 327. I will do some poking around to see where I can find the hull number.
More to come. more

There was a 1963 model year 17' ski boat, but its numbers were cuc-17-001 to 17-020 or cud 17-001 to 17-160. Doesnt sound like yours is one of those based on the hull number mentioned. [links]
