While this runabout does have a hull made of fiberglass, it is beneficial to keep the boat clean and dry by covering it properly while not in use. Good maintenance and care can help your vessel stay in good condition and have a higher value at resale. Applicable engine information has been included below since a boat needs reliable power.

This boat is a 17 foot 1974 Caravelle Tri-hull boat, it has a 1975 70 h.p. two stroke outboard motor with hydraulic tilling. The boat has been rino-lined on the inside, i did install some astroturf to cut down on the heat absorbed by the liner and can be easily removed.This boat excels as a fishing boat especially as a bow fishing platform; since front deck is extremely stable due to the tri-hull design. Also included is the full galvanized steel trailer. Included with the boat is: 1 river anchor, one long handle oar, a storage cover, a large deep cycle battery, and three gas tanks. here

2001 Caravelle Interceptor 212 Bowrider 2001 Caravelle Interceptor 212. Turnkey ready! Carbureted Mercruiser 5.3 with 350ish hours (dash reads wrong, says 140). We have owned the boat for 4 years and had it completely redone 3 years ago by Shoreline Boat and RV. It used to be red and white. The boat was wet sanded, new graphics, new carpet (no rot whatsoever on the wood floor), new vinyl on all seats, new matching bevels and steering wheel. New Wet Sound speakers with amp (last year), Kenwood sub and amp, new marine grade head unit. New full cover and Bimini, had the carburetor cleaned and adjusted, and new Corsica thru hull exhaust (captains choice) last year. Added a new marine battery with an isolator for the stereo 2 years ago. It will charge off the alternator but will not drain the main battery when floating and listening to music. This boat is 17 years old and has some normal wear and tear. That being said, it will be tough to find a cleaner 17 year old boat. Painted the trailer a couple of years ago but does show some age. New spare installed last year. Bearing buddies replaced 2 years ago and bearings were repacked this winter. The boat was also professionally detailed this winter. We had the boat professionally maintained every year including winterization, impeller, oil and other fluids.
