It can sit 8 adults and feels good. It does say it seats 11.We have never felt the boat was under powered, it has done well for all our needs. All our friends and family have loved the boat. A couple times we got caught out running a storm, choppy water and the boat did very well for us. But then we are not crazy boaters or speeders.
