Safe and versatile, this boat is great for inshore and offshore fishing. When the family and friends want to go to the island for a day at the beach, just add all the cushions and ski pylon. I have taken this boat from Palm Harbor to Captiva Island and back every year mostly on the Gulf Side. On a good day, she can cruise comfortably at 40 mph for the entire 120 miles and only burns about 45 gallons for a three hour trip. This boat has a 90 gallon fuel tank giving you great range no matter how you use her. She is well maintained with all her regular services since new including new batteries, lower unit, battery switch, main breaker, stereo/radio and controller, all coils replaced as well as other pumps, hoses, hydraulic lines. We also replaced the Bimini top that was stainless steel (I still have it) with a much larger aluminum top (nine feet). Also included are all the cushions, ski pole, depth finder, GPS, hard mounted stereo/radio, anchor, dock lines and safety equipment. Apart from the single bar spanning the mid-section of the boat you will also have a storage cooler on the port side of the boat and seating at the bow. It is recommended that you opt for the seating pad for the bow to increase comfort and seating options. here
Standard on the Boston Whaler 150 Super Sport is a Mercury 4-stroke 60 Horsepower engine. You can tilt and trim the engine from the throttle shift handle. This is great for when you are in shallow waters or when putting in or taking out the boat from the water. Tilting can also be done from the stern. When looking at the stern, you will note that there is a larger lower unit. This is standard to the Boston Whaler 150 Super Sport model. Also standard is a larger cavitation plate allowing the boat to plain quicker.
The hull of the Boston Whaler 150 Super Sport has a deep V design on the front-end. This allows you to go further out in the Gulf or the Atlantic without getting jarred around by the bigger waves. The V design pushes the waves downward and lifts the boat upward so that it “floats” upon the water. Additionally, the Boston Whaler 150 Super Sport boats for sale have a reverse chine where the deep V meets to further stabilize the ride.

Unlike some of the other models from Boston Whaler, the 150 super sport has a singular bar spanning the width of the boat rather than a bar cushioned console seat. Under the seating you will find the fuel tank. Buyers of pre-owned vessels should check this space as the fuel tank is a bit exposed and prolonged kicking and bumping of the tank may cause some issues with its integrity. That being stated, the placement of the tank on the starboard side and in direct alignment with the navigation minimizes the risk for such to occur. more
