2016 Sea Fox 288 Commander The Sea Fox Commander Series Offshore Boats consist of 6 models – the 186, 206, 226, 246, 266, and 288. Each hull designed by a naval engineer incorporating Sea Fox’s Carolina flair and raised shear lines to give the boat an aggressive stance and dry ride. Stable at rest, unlike many offshore boats that want to list side to side. Standard options include tilt wheel w/ knob, Sea Star hydraulic steering, dual battery switch, livewell, two bilge pumps on separate floats, stainless steel pop-up cleats, swim ladders, and over-stuffed leaning posts. All rod holders and cup holders are plumbed…no cheap black caps on the rod holders to keep water out. No cheap rocker switches, only high-end toggles. Sea Fox recesses the trim tabs in the transom while many competitors don’t take the time to do so. The fisherman will appreciate the cockpit space, rod storage, and fish boxes. The cruiser will enjoy the bow cushion package, forward seating bolsters, and coaming pads. A boat well suited for hardcore offshore fishing, but right at home on a dinner cruise or island hopping.
