You see, I am so picky. I am the millennial Goldilocks of women's perfume. I like sweet but not too sweet, floral but not screechy, fruity but not juvenile, and spicy but not unisex. Add patchouli and the whole thing becomes a wild card - will I love it or revile it? here
Paris - Riviera, a genuinely worthy addition to the Les Eaux collection.
This is summer evening date perfect (and I can vouch for its seductive efficacy). Sillage is gentle as is the perfume itself, just a lovely blend of fresh meets sultrier depths. I would very likely splash on a bottle of this if it were easily accessible to me and a little more purse friendly. I’ll have to make do with the remainder of the generous sample decant I was gifted instead. here

Reading the reviews here I really thought this would be a neroli floral focused scent with a lift from the citrus and a hint of vanilla. A watered down orange juice and vanilla ice cream is what I got instead. So glad I didn’t give into temptation and waste money blind buying this. I've since removed this from my want list. more

There's a lot of static, at-anchor and champagne cruising appeal here. You won’t be lost for a seat, views or a cold drink. Freeboard is good at displacement speeds and the reverse sheer in the foredeck ensures clear vision. Crew will find this an easy boat to get around, too. [links]

Riviera’s new 5400 Sport Yacht (SY) was launched in America, months before we could get our hands on the wheel and joysticks. The boat was photographed flying the Stars and Stripes banner during a photo shoot in the Bahamas. I guess we shouldn’t feel left out, as 55 per cent of Riviera’s production is exported these days.
Accommodation revolves around a popular three-cabin and two-bathroom layout seen here or an optional two cabin layout with lower saloon. The third cabin to port has bunks but also a surprising degree of floor space thanks to the hull flare. The VIP is forward with island queen bed sharing the communal bathroom with American-sized shower and a new upmarket hotel-like finish. Every cabin and head has a hatch for fresh air. more

Despite a protracted design process involving everything from 3D modelling to mock ups, the new boat we drove wasn't finalised until Riviera owner Longhurst spent Easter aboard with his young family. He stands 6ft 2in tall, his wife is 5ft 8in, and his three boys are aged 9, 7 and 4. A good workout and test! [links]
This is a very nicely proportioned owner/driver boat and Riviera’s most sophisticated Sport Yacht ever.
