I have for sale a 1981 O'Day 22 MH Sailboat. $3200 OBO This boat has a 4.5HP 2 stroke Johnson Seahorse outboard. The motor runs great and starts on the second pull. Very light motor. This is a great boat if you are an experienced sailor or just starting out. The battery is new (purchased 10/3/14). it is a deep cycle battery. I will also include a trickle charger. The sails are is great shape. The cushions could be redone to make it perfect. It has a swinging Keel. The Keel is stored under the boat instead of inside the cabin. New bottom paint May 2014 The draft is 1.9 feet (from the water line to the bottom of the keel). it would probably float good loaded up in about 2.5 feet of water. This boat is located in Bay St. Louis, Ms The boat is registered in Mississippi in my name. The interior wood has been refinished & stained previously. The tiller has also been refinished. I also have a device i made to raise the mast. it is a 2x4 with a mount that connects to the bottom of the mast. You hook the front mast support up to the device, and from the device to the front of the boat through the rigging. i have a boat winch on the device & some rigging. this allows the mast to come up with ease. Just crank it right up. 1 person could probably do it, but i usually have someone else help me to keep the mast from moving left or right while raising. I do not leave the boat in the water. I launch & rig up every outing. I keep the boat at my home while not in use. This boat come with the following: 2 jib sails. A standard jib (smaller) & a Genola Jib (Overlapping). 1 Main Sail several new rigging block pulleys new rope (4800 lb) new main sail block pulley assembly new boom vang block pulley assembly gas tank with new fuel line, bulb, & fuel filter. new interior lights & 12V plugs new compass - not installed new wiring throughout the boat - within the past year 1 single axle trailer Adjustable Transom 2 anchors & 100 ft of 4800 lb double braided line. 4 Life Jackets Canister Horn 4 Emergency Flares Throwable flotation/Cushion fresh water holding tank & sink - i have never used it. This boat does great in rough water. I have had no issues. It is ready to sail. This boat is rigged to be sailed by 1 person if desired. (2 will be required to raise the mast) You can raise & lower the sails per the rigging toward the seating area. The boat launches with ease. i dont have to set my rear truck tires in the water to launch. The trailer tires are about 3 years old. The boat will sleep 4 people. There are Berths on each side in the back of the Cabin and a V-Berth in the front. I have taken very good care of this boat. I wash it after every outing. Navigation Lights work great. 2010 Macgregor 26M The Macgregor 26M is a trailerable coastal cruiser, powerboat, ski boat, party barge and floating home all wrapped into one hull. The obvious design compromises in a motorboat-sailboat hybrid have made many owners smile. The Macgregor 26 is a hybrid appealing primarily to trailersailors strapped for time and concerned about the rising cost of slip and mooring fees. 2010 Macgregor 26M These boats are quite amazing as it is possible to sail or even water-ski behind her. She is on a twin axle trailer and her rigging can be raised single handed. It also has removable water ballast of 521 Kgs, with a 60hp outboard under power she is capable of speeds up 22knots.This boat has been well looked after and has a high specification of electronics.The boat is only reluctantly for sale as the owner has purchased a bigger vessel and is not allowed two boats!These boat details are subject to contract.Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
Excellent Daysailer. I learned to sail solo on Lake George with this boat. Handles like a dream. I've slept on it a number of time. The ads will say it sleeps four. I'd say two adults and two small children. The hull has been scraped, but not painted. I kept it on the trailer when I wasn't using it. So, I didn't need to paint it. I've replaced all the wiring, the stern light, the winch strap for the trailer, and the cable for the swing keel. The cushions have all been recovered with vinyl. Last July, I had the plugs, points, head gasket replaced, and the carb rebuilt on the motor. It's old. But, if you let it warm up for a few minutes, it will run all day. Up for sale is my 1990 Catalina 22ft. wing keel sailboat with trailer and 2 Johnson outboard 2-stroke engines.
This boat is in excellent condition. It was very well maintained since it was bought brand new here in Buffalo in 1990. I bought this boat off the original owner 5 years ago and have all of the original receipts and manuals for the boat, trailer, and engine.
The boat cruising cabin layout is well utilized, sleeping 5 people comfortable with a sink, stove, portable toilet, and table that converts into a bed.
The boat has a VHF radio. and it is rigged to sail single handed with a reefing system, and tiller lock and brand new tiller.
All stanchions are solid with lifelines for safety, solid stays, and ladder.
I will include a storm sail.
The cushions, which look great, have been stored indoors every winter. I the boat is completely covered with a large tarp and A-frame to keep the snow off during the winter. I uploaded a picture of the A-frame and the gin pole system as well. The boat is buffed and waxed with new bottom paint every season.
This boat needs nothing! Very solid reliable boat and motor, and it's ready to sail!
The 6 hp Johnson sailmaster, and 10HP johnson sailmaster motors have new water pump impellers, and the gear case oil, spark plugs have been replaced every year plus winterized with fogging oil and stabil every season.
The trailer passes inspection with new tires, wheels, paint, and winches.
I have a winch rigging system with a gin pole that will be included with this sale, so that you can take down and put up the mast with 2 people.
One great feature of this boat is that the because there is no inboard engine or rudder, the bilge is has never had a drop of water in it, in fact, there is only dust in the bilge so you dont have to worry about this boat sinking because there is never any water coming into the boat from anywhere.
Another great feature is that is has a 708 lb. wing keel is only 2.5ft draft (deep) so you can go into shallow water while still having the stability of a fixed heavy keel.

1975 Catalina 22 Pop Top Project Sailboat and Trailer The Catalina 22 is a popular sailboat produced by Catalina Yachts. Its hull measures 21 foot 6 inches (6.55 m), which is rounded up to 22 feet (6.7 m) for use in the model's name. First produced in 1968, it is one of the longest continuously produced sailboats in the world. Over 15000! Parts, videos and know-how are abound on the net 2005 last time previous owner had boat in water. I have never had boat in the water or was able to work on her. 2005 was the last time I was inside the cabin before preparing this listing for ebay. She has been closed up for ten years and is dirty in and out. I sprayed Windex in a few areas inside and dirt just wiped off with no scrubbing. Water, at one time, intruded around the forward hatch. Has complete set of interior cushions in gold plaid pattern. Most are in surprising good condition. NO SMELLS. One has a 1.5x1.5 inch hole in fabric that isn't seen when in place. 1 or 2 have an area of cracking vinyl. In all the noted exceptions, I don't think they would be seen or stop you from sailing PREVIOUS OWNER'S DESCRIPTION: '75 Catalina 22 pop top w/trailer • fair condition - Project boat • Swing Keel • Pop top • Sail Inventory: 2 mains, Jib (Marked San Juan works w/Cat 22s) and 150 Furling I think all are usable • Scupper upgrade in transom • Ablative paint on hull and keel • Never in salt water • Needs good cleaning • I know of no problems with the swing keel • No known leaks around keel pin • Comes with 2 Rudders. Usable but not perfect • Port side blemish in the gel coat • One pop top support needs to be re-bedded • Front hatch needs the frame reinstalled and sealed • Soft spot forward of hatch • Crack in cabin threshold but does not affect anything much • Cracks and crazing in the deck gelcoat that need filling • One stanchion base needs to be re-bedded • Small dent/crack in mast near stays, like pinched on one side at the spreaders. When raising the mast, one of the stays was caught and pulled the spreader forward. See photo. A pontoon boat repair guy told me that a braze could patch for about $25 • Needs halyards but I would get all new running rigging • Replace Hatch Boards or just cut a Plywood Hatch • Standing rigging, I am no judge but it worked when last used and it has been out of the elements since. • The forestay also has a quick-release lever purchased from Catalina Direct, along with quick-release pins for quicker and easier mast- raising and lowering. Those parts are, of course, stainless steel. • Will also include a sliding galley out of a 1984 Cat 22. It slides under the cockpit starboard seating when not in use. It has a faucet, sink, water fresh water holding tank, a drawer and a place for a small portable propane stove. I was going to sell it separately on ebay. They normally go from 150-200. TRAILER • Trailer in good shape, but could use some paint• Has 10 ft extension• Has surge brake system used for two trips since it was installed• Has Buddy Bearings• New load range 'C' tires were put on in Spring of 2010. 63 Miles total mileage as boat was towed from one of our rental homes to our house in Martinsville.
