I have a 2002 chevy silverado 2500 hd with a vortec 81 liter engine but why doesnt the engine have a pcv valve. Modern vortec engines are named for their approximate. This v8 engine replaced the 74l vortec as the high power option for the vehicles in which it was offered. here
