Whether you live in other parts of the UAE, there’s sure to be at least one person out of every group already planning the route to AD- depending on the superstar they’re off to see.
This year’s Yasalam After-Race Concert line-up is MASSIVE.
Let’s not reduce the greatness that is Travis Scott to merely associating him with Kylie Jenner, because his fanbase will tell you he is so much more. After the launch of his album, Astroworld, Scott’s fame catapulted to a whole other level with instant hits like Highest In The Room, SICKO MODE, and Stargazing, that easily made himself memorable in everyone’s minds. here
Access to the shows is only available for those purchasing tickets for the corresponding race day. more
Kendrick Lamar has been announced as the final act to perform at the Abu Dhabi F1 After Race Concert series.
The 30 year-old will perform on November 24 at the du Arena. He would complete the four day line up of concerts which begins a day earlier with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, the British folk-rockers Mumford and Sons on November 25 and pop star Pink on the prestigious race day concert on November 26.
With the exception of Mumford and Sons who are presently in between albums, this year’s Abu Dhabi F1 announcement is the most current with each of the artist hitting the capital with new work to promote. [links]
US rockers The Killers will take on the prestigious race-day concert, on Sunday, December 1. more
The announcement of both acts, by organisers Flash Entertainment and Yas Marina Circuit, completes the all-American line-up of this year's Abu Dhabi F1 after-race concert series.
It will begin on Thursday, November 28, with Marshmello behind the DJ decks. Rapper Travis Scott will play on Friday, November 29, followed by Del Rey on Saturday, November 30.
Del Rey's fans will be ecstatic to see the star making her UAE debut in the capital. In addition to her smouldering hits Summertime Sadness and Born to Die, the artist, 34, recently released her sixth album, Norman (expletive) Rockwell, a record containing more colour and groove than her normally monochromic compositions. The new songs are still dreamy, but they have enough kick to have you moving along. [links]
Mumford and Sons have headlined the Glastonbury Festival and played to 65,000 people at Hyde Park. Their three previous studio albums took the UK and US charts by storm, winning them a raft of major music awards, including ‘Best British Band’ at the Brit Awards, and a coveted Grammy Award for ‘Album of the Year’. more
British rockers Mumford and Sons will play the du Arena on November 25 night as part of the Yasalam After Race Concert. The Grammy Award-winning band join DJ Calvin Harris (November 23) and pop star Pink (November 26) who will perform in the UAE capital as part of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concerts.
They are expected to bring all their major hits, including Believe, The Wolf, The Cave, I Will Wait and Little Lion Man.
Organisers said more artists and free concerts will be announced later. Entry to after-race gigs at du Arena, however, is limited to race ticket holders only, starting at Dh195. [links]
