As for length, I'd line the bows as close to even as you can to your current tubes. It would be okay for your transom to extend out further. Mine does by 18 inches. Then add the engine to that. here

Unless you're needing the extra buoyancy a third tube adds to carry more people, just add lifting strakes and a 150 and call it a good day. [links]

Manitou will certainly agree with going with a 27" center tube, as they market the hell out of there 23,27,23 v-toon.

DockStar Thrusters has developed a system that makes it easy for boaters to add a bow or stern thruster with NO wiring or cutting a hole into your boat! They call it the DockStar Smart Thruster, because it is simply a smarter thruster system for your boat. more

A stern mounted thruster can be very useful for improved control of single engine or fixed screw boats like trawlers or motor yachts. The thruster can also be used to firmly hold the boat against the dock while handling lines – particularly important for single-handed captains.

Fortunately, a bow or stern thruster no longer needs to be a luxury limited to newer boat models. And even better, the solution doesn’t have to be an expensive and complicated thru-hull thruster system. more

Docking a boat can be a stressful experience for even the most skilled captains. From windy weather conditions to difficult docking situations or general limitations of certain boat types, the lack of a thruster can often make maneuvering your boat a challenge.

Attach the hold-down straps by locating the cutouts in the fabric on the front and rear pockets. Wrap the loop end of the strap into the cutout and around the frame. Take the hook end of the strap and pass it through the loop, pull tight. Repeat this process at each of the four cutouts. If your pockets have zippers, it may be easier to unzip them for this step if you find you’re having trouble threading the straps. more

Installing a Bimini Top isn’t a difficult process! With the help of a friend or family member, you’ll have your Bimini Top assembled and installed quickly. Before beginning, read through the instructions that arrived with your top and gather all necessary materials. By having tools and supplies within reach, the assembly and installation process will be smooth sailing.

Locate the fabric top and remove it from the bag. Lay the top face down on a flat, clean surface with the frame pocket facing up. If the pockets have zippers, unzip them. Insert the assembled bows into the appropriate pockets. The jaw slides should be facing up. Zip up the pockets to close. If your top does not have zippers, insert frames entirely through each pocket.

Remove the bolts from the deck hinges and set them aside. With the help of another person, carry the Bimini top to the boat and lay the ends on the gunnels. Locate the ID tag at the back of the fabric top to ensure it will be at the rear of the boat. Line up the eye ends of the bow with the deck hinges, insert the bolts and tighten. Open up the Bimini top to the deployed position and make sure the open top is located where you want it. [links]

A single step ladder is made out of a 1” stainless steel tube and has a soft vinyl step. The ladder can be folded back onto the platform when not needed. Handrails are attached to platform for support while boarding. It is easy to install and comes with required fasteners for installing it. Pactrade manufactures a one step inboard platform but also manufacturers a 3 step platform that works with either inboard or outboard motors. here

If you own a pontoon with a pre-fitted upper deck, then the manufacturer of the boat may provide the slide as an accessory. People who have installed an aftermarket upper deck can order a custom slide. There are a few temporary slides also available that can be assembled before use and disassembled after use. They are ideal for pontoon owners who don’t have an upper deck on their boats. These slides can be stored in a compartment of the boat and are easy to use. [links]

The Lillipad Diving Board is a fun accessory for both kids and adults and is specially designed for installation on boats. It can be mounted on boats over 18 feet long and can support a weight of up to 250 pounds. This board makes use of urethane springs unlike a pool board that flexes itself. Its patented framework design ensures minimal stress on boat by counteracting energy of the jumper. The board is constructed from heavy duty aluminum and stainless-steel components making it durable and long-lasting. The Lillipad Diving Board is available in underfloor and surface mounting options. more

Outboard swim platforms are quite popular on pontoons. They consist of a durable boarding platform that is accessible through a ladder. Their ladder may have one, two, or three steps, and could either be telescoped or folded back after use. A handrail may be provided on the platform to make it easier for people to get on the pontoon. Outboard swim platforms are generally installed on either side of the motor. Here are a couple of excellent outboard platforms with different designs. more

You might be able to put a front eyelet on like you typically see and bolt it down to the front joist/rail normally with a heavy washer behind it. Then get an all-thread rod coupling and attach to the remaining threads and send the rod through the next joist or two with two jam nuts and heavy washers at each cross member. here

Definitely agree with previous posts that you need to get to several cross joists to distribute the stress. If you just put a hook on the front cross member and finished railing you will have a bow in the front in no time with the possibility of tearing it out completely. On mine I had two 2x2 angle aluminum welded from the first joist to the second one. It’s just too much pressure coming up the ramp and traveling down the road to hold with the front joist only. here
