If you're missing a bunch of Gems and one of the statues for the Evil Spirit Search Orb Challenge, use the Spring Powerup to get on top of the roof where the Return Home Portal is. From there, go along the snowy path and into an ice cave with the goodies. more
A pair of Gems that get missed quite often are a pair of Purple Gems located to the right of the tunnel at the bottom of the lake at the start of the level. This is the puzzle that leads to the first of Foreman Bud's puzzles. more
Two easily missable miss Gems are located early in the third area, the one before the area with the Superflame Powerup. Stand in the doorway connecting these areas, then search the area on your right to find a Purple Gem. Now go to the button nearby and look left to find a Green Gem in the corner. Sneaky! here
If you're missing a single Gem in Reignited, head back to the cave and Climb up the ladder to the Superfly Powerup. Check in the corner behind Roo the Gemcutter: you can find a Red Gem hidden here that's deviously hidden among the dry grass.
Just before Spyro arrived, Ripto and his accomplices, Crush and Gulp, broke into the castle of Summer Forest and kicked Moneybags, who owned it, out. Elora introduced herself to Spyro, and when he mentioned that the Gemcutters had given him a Talisman, she told him that there were 14 other magical talismans as well. Hunter soon had come into the forest and Elora asked him where he was. Hunter told her that he "got a little lost," and Elora mentioned that there was no way that Spyro could reach Dragon Shores due to Ripto's conquest of the castle. Spyro agreed to help out.
To complete this Challenge, Spyro will need to walk back to the area where the Glimmer Portal is located and follow the stream down until it turns into a pond. Use Spyro's swimming ability to dive and then follow a tunnel until you can re-surface inside a cave. Jump up the ledges provided, and an orb will be lying on the window-sill.
Later on, Spyro learned from Elora how the crisis started, preceding his battle with Crush.
Instead of pressing all the shoulder buttons at once like they did in the original version of Year of the Dragon, Spyro: Reignited Trilogy players just need to click in the left stick to make Sparx point to missing gems. We tested this in all three games, and it works in every single one, even in Year of the Dragon before players properly unlock the ability in one of Sparx's levels. here
Back in the day, the original PS1 release of Spyro: Year of the Dragon introduced the gem-finding mechanic, where players could pull in the triggers and bumpers to make Sparx, Spyro's dragonfly companion, point to missing gems. In Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, this feature has been made retroactively available in Spyro the Dragon and Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, allowing players to 100% each game with a lot less headache. However, players don't use the shoulder buttons to activate it this time around. here
One of the most frustrating things in Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is when players are missing just one gem or two in a level, and no matter how long they search for them, can never seem to find them. Oftentimes red and green gems will blend in with the ground, which makes finding missing gems even more difficult. Luckily, there is a trick players can use to make finding gems in Spyro: Reignited Trilogy much easier, and it can be done in all three remade games.
Each game also has its own set of achievements and platinum trophies, plus a set of separate challenges called Skill Points. Unlocking all of the Skill Points will require players to thoroughly conquer each game in the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy collection, so even with the Sparx trick, some stages will still give players a run for their money.
