Built from the bones of the former James Hotel, the 114-room ModernHaus SoHo on Grand Street takes inspiration from Soho’s art galleries, and includes a significant display of paintings and sculptures from such contemporary art luminaries as Alexander Calder, Hans Hartung, George Condo, and Kaws.
Located at West 28th Street and Fifth Avenue, developers Flaneur Hospitality, founded by Empire Management COO Alex Ohebshalom, oversaw the preservation work for the 1908 McKim, Mead, & White bank building, which will include 153 guest rooms. [links]

Luxury real estate in the Caribbean is booming and has been for the last year following the onset of the pandemic. According to Edward de Mallet Morgan, a partner at Knight Frank, a global real estate consultancy based in London, the market is flourishing like never before.
