There are countless great beaches: Vatses, Kaminaki, Agios Konstantinos, Plakes, Maltezana, and Tzanaki, to name a few. The nearby islets of Kounoupes and Koutsomitis also make for a lovely day trip. Be sure to pick up some local saffron to take home. It grows wild on the island and is much more flavourful and aromatic than cultivated varieties. more
