Meanwhile, a deal is being struck that will have Kohl's building on Belle Terre, across from Albertsons, replacing the aged fire and rescue station currently occupying the site. As part of the deal, the developer will build a new rescue station for the city on Corporate Drive.

Thank you for your comment. Actually there are improvements going on at quite a few areas with the City's Parks & Trails. You easily find detailed information with the new Capital Projects online map. Simply visit the Engineering Department page below and click on the "Capital Projects Map View". On the map scroll down to the green tab projects on the left. Some of these include improvements and upgrades to Indian Trails Sports Complex, Lehigh Trailhead on Belle Terre, Ralph Carter Park, etc. [links]

Remember as well that a great deal of the funding for these improvements come from local sales tax dollars. This is purpose behind the City's # BeLocalBuyLocal campaign. To raise awareness of impact behind supporting local businesses, spending locally, and how doing do puts those dollars back into our community. - Brad West, Sr. Communications Officer here
