Once the trim was dialed in, the Blazer Bay 1900 proved to be a solid performer. With the sharp bow entry that tapered to a 17-degree deadrise at the transom, hard chines, and running strakes she should be a top-performer in most conditions.
The cowling panels on the Evinrude 115 E-TEC G2 H.O. can be switched out. Owners are able to customize their outboard.

The E-TEC G2 115 H.O. can tilt completely out of the water to help prolong engine life.
Evinrude provides a steering locking pin to keep the engine from rolling onto its side when trailering. For obvious safety reasons, it must be disengaged before the engine will start. more

I own a Blazer Bay 2400 (rolled gunnel Texoma style), a Triton Sea Flight 22 (rolled gunnel) and a Blazer Bay 2020 (liner)
I've had the Blazer Bay 2400 for three years and have put 1,100 hours on it with our guide service. The most important factors to me in purchasing the boat were price point, fishable space, easy cleanup, and a dry ride. I'd say the Blazer did not disappoint in any of those categories. I haven't had a single issue with the construction of the boat that kept us off the water for a day. Salsa picked my brain for a year before purchasing his lol
I will agree that rolled gunnel boats don't typically have the finish details of the liner models and this is true with the Blazer. However, I consider these purely cosmetic. They are only visible in hidden areas like the interior of compartments. Also the gauges aren't premium and the console isn't much to look at, but again, that didn't matter to me. The hull is a little light but the trim tabs make a huge difference in choppy water. [links]
Also, the guys over at Blackbeard marine were a pleasure to work with and are very knowledgeable.
With a 27 by 9-foot outline, the Blazer Bay 2700 offers the comfort and stability necessary to carry the entire family in comfort.
This Hybrid Bay is an upper tier boat in its class with many quality features included as standard equipment. Dual flush mounted Simrad 12-inch EVO 3 units, Sea Star hydraulic tilt steering, all waterproof Deutsche plug electrical connections, and a wet sounds audio system with four 6.5’s two 8” subs and a 200-watt amp are each standard included features.
A smaller rear casting deck in the cockpit allows you to add another angler to the mix while providing space below it to accommodate a pair of 30-gallon live wells in the transom corners. A flip-up double wide bench seat is hidden below the rear deck. more
