Mirro Aluminum Company of Manitowoc, Wisconsin first began production of aluminum boats in 1956. Marketed under the name of MirroCraft, the original line offered a series of quality boats for recreational fishing and pleasure. Gradually, as demand grew, the boat line was expanded to include boats from 10-19 feet in length with varying inside configurations and features. here

The Mirrocraft name first appeared in 1956 when a Wisconsin-based aluminum entered the boat market. Bought by company employees in 1982, the Northport Incorporated name took over the Mirrocraft name as a quality aluminum boat builder. Mirrocraft/Northport Incorporated caters heavily to anglers with jon boats and utility watercraft. The Mirrocraft/Northport Incorporated boat line-up also includes a number of runabouts. here

It will be easy to fit the cover over the boat as it has an elastic cord sewn on the bottom of the hem. The cover doesn’t stretch nor shrink and gives a snug fit that is close to custom fit. It also has adjustable straps to tighten further the cover which is of great help especially while trailering. here

If you are looking for a boat seat cover that will not fade nor stain your boat, try the Anglink waterproof boat cover which undergoes a unique dyeing process and will not face such issues. It is made from RIPSTOP 600D Oxford marine grade polyester canvas with PU coated inner layer. It claimed to have the capacity to withstand up to 2000 Pa water pressure as compared to 700-800 Pa for its counterpart. Thus the cover can stand up to adverse weather conditions and will have a long useful life. [links]

At this point, the manufacturer doesn’t offer any warranty on the cover which some might consider as a drawback. more

The only drawback is that the cover is not vented for moisture to escape. This might cause mold to grow unless you take precautions and let some airflow. more

They are made of heavy coated fabric – that is why they can sustain snow during the winter storms. They are almost the same as the Mooring cover. A difference is that they are taller than the Mooring one. [links]

H scrit. I've seen all kinds of PVC frames for boat covers. here's a link with a few pics. some are free standing, while others are used in the boat. just be sure that it's tied down well, so it doesn't blow away on you.

I was throwing around the idea of bolting some sort of frame to the trailer then attaching a tarp to it. Anyone seen something like this or done this? My concern would be the integrity of the structure while at highway speeds, of course I would remove the tarp before traveling. I dont think pvc would be strong enough. here
