The 3.0 liter V-6 was the smallest six-cylinder engine offered in 2004 Rangers. Ranger pickups with a regular cab and a six-foot cargo bed can tow up to 2,660 pounds, while models with a seven-foot bed can tow 2,580 pounds. Edge models with a regular cab can tow a 2,520-pound trailer. Due to the extra weight of Rangers with a SuperCab, the total trailer weight cannot exceed 2,480 pounds or 2,400 on the SuperCab Edge. here
