I have recently seen a new type that looks much easier to get the fuel out of the can. I purchased on at my local hardware store and it has a simple thumb tab you depress to let the fuel pour out. It doesn’t work at all so I am forced to completely unscrew the cap off my fuel can anytime I want to pour fuel out. more

Similar to having water on hand in an emergency; having a supply of fuel in containers that protect the fuel and are easy to carry is important. Could you store gas in thousand-gallon tanks buried underground? Yes, and that is my dream scenario but for now, I and I assume most others will have to settle for something a little more cost-effective and portable.

Since they blend gas differently in the Winter, I buy my fuel around January and store that for a year. Before the next January comes around I load up my gas tank in my car expending my stores and then head to the pump for a fresh batch. This way I think my fuel will be in as good a condition as possible.

Can you ever have too much fuel? I don’t know that you can in a real emergency. If you are unable to get to the gas station or there are rations at the pump you can never have too much. Would 500 gallons be enough? It really depends. If you have a minor power outage that lasts a few days, then you wouldn’t need that much gas at all. If we have the end of the world and there are no gas stations anymore, that 500 gallons is going to be a huge help, but it won’t last forever.

ANNUALLY: Each year add more PRI-G or PRI-D to your fuel to keep it fresh. Fuel will last indefinitely as long as you do this.
And a year later we ran into an even bigger problem – the generator wouldn’t turn on period!

The are too many uses for the PRI products to name, but the following are ways I’m using it in case of an emergency. I can’t believe I never used this before, but now you won’t catch my shelves without it!

Fuel deteriorates and becomes unstable the longer it sits causing all sorts of damage – disabling engines, plugging filtration systems, damaging engine components with excessive carbon – or even refusing to ignite. Generator manufacturers estimate that more than half of all generator failures in emergency situations are the result of fuel gone bad. – Power Research Inc.

Fixing the damage can be costly (as we discovered when repairing our generator), so do your generator a favor and go ahead and treat it with some fuel stabilizer! [links]

I bought your 5.25 oz fuel additive and after filling my tank with about 90% 91 octane, filled it with your additive. Almost immediatly the car seemed to perk up. The mileage seemd to have gone up, too. here

EASY TO USE. One (1) fluid ounce treats 2.5 gallons of gasoline.

My step-father told me that my mother's car was leaking oil and have it checked. I took it to my mechanic (I trust them completely) they told me that the radiator was leaking, the tranny needed a seal, and the power steering hose needed to be replaced. $900 worth of repairs. My mother's 95 T-bird has a dreaded tranny shake and as I was driving there, it even shook going into fourth. I told my machanic I wanted to flush the tranny additive. They told me it would just leak faster if the tranny was flushed and that the additive wouldn't help the situation. here
Add one (1) ounce of Lucas Fuel Stabilizer for every 2.5 gallons of gasoline. Use the one (1) ounce measurement indicators on the back of the bottle. more

I am not completely convinced, but I am certainly getting there. I had seen your additives at an auto parts store and thought they were just another of the thousands of products that are expensive quarts of oil. I have used both Prolong and Duralube on a few cars with no results. I used to use Redline SL1 Fuel Injector additive. The car was running a little sluggish and I thought I was going to need a new fuel filter more
