On our first full day in Antigua we went on the Gadaboat and met Stacey, George, Travis and their cute little rescue dog Blondie. We sailed from 10AM-6PM, stopped at two different beaches to swim, snorkel, and sailed around the island. Stacey made some amazing snacks, lunch, and her soon to be famous rum punch. Travis is awesome! Makes you feel right at home and took breathtaking pictures of my wife and I. Would highly recommend! My husband found this lovely charter online while we were staying at a resort in Antigua. Husband & wife owner & operators, George & Stacy, were very professional and wonderful hosts. We had a bit of rain but these wonderful people and their amazing deck hand Omari made this trip so extra special & memorable for us. I’ve never been on a sailboat myself &. I was pleasantly surprised by its beauty! The food and of course Stacys rum punch was top notch! If anyone is searching for something amazing to do in Antigua, look no further, you will be blown away! We jumped aboard for a 4 hour sail and immediately felt at ease. George, Stacey and Omari, the mate, create an amazing vibe on the boat. It’s just easy, relaxed and perfect. You can feel that they really enjoy doing this and you feel at home. George and Stacy are seasond sailors who have spent many years in these waters. The boat is beautiful and has alot of deck space. The lunch and drinks were excellent, and Stacy made sure the kids had a selection in the way of snacks and drink as well. Stacy has started serving Roti cooked by a relation of Omari’s on the boat, and wow, you can’t stop eating them. Im sorry I started with the prosecco and didnt have the rum punch (had to drive afterwards) which I hear is top notch. We saw some of the round-the-island catamaran charters zipping around via motor blaring music, and we were so glad to have opted for this instead. Its real sailing and real hospitality. All Marine Pleasure Craft and Ferry Services entering the waters of Antigua and Barbuda should contact the Antigua Port Authority, using VHF Channel 16, at least six (6) hours prior to arrival. Instructions will be given to guide the crafts to either the Nevis Street Pier or to a holding area. here
