Investigators reviewing the 1981 death at sea of actress Natalie Wood say the account of a boat captain who says he saw Wood’s husband, Robert Wagner, explode in a jealous rage over her relationship with the actor Christopher Walken on the night she died is “credible.”
The account of Dennis Davern — who captained Wagner’s 60-ft. yacht Splendour over Thanksgiving 1981, with Wagner, Wood and Walken aboard — has since been backed up by two new witnesses who are “very credible,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. John Corina says, according to 48 Hours.
Police have not identified those on the other boat involved and say no charges have been laid in the investigation so far. [links]

SEGUIN TOWNSHIP, Ont. – Media reports says celebrity businessman Kevin O’Leary was on a boat involved in a crash that left two people dead in Ontario’s cottage country last weekend.
The force says a 48-year-old woman, identified as Susanne Brito of Uxbridge, Ont., died in hospital on Tuesday. here

O’Leary issued a statement to TMZ saying he was a passenger in the boat when the collision took place on Saturday night.
In the ’80s, Al Sharpton tried to lead a boycott of the Jacksons’ “Pride Patrol” tour, allegedly to extort money from the band. Soon after this, he received a phone call from a mysterious man called Sal who threatened to murder him if he followed through with the boycott.
