I just bought this boat & trailer from a friend of mine that had it for 10-years and upgraded to a brand new one. I bought this boat from him for his trade-in value of $8k because I know this boat runs and operates like a new boat at a fraction of the price.Unfortunately, when I brought it home, I could see my wife and kids wanted a brand new boat, not a 1998. So I am looking for a quick sale. My new boat arrives on 6/1 and I dont have room for two. My loss is your gain.The upholstery was replaced about 10-years a go but is faded but is in serviceable condition for many years. This boat is in great condition for a 1998 with about 650 well cared for hours. The 351/5.8L Ford GT40 engine is VERY powerful. Gelcoat is in good condition and was wrapped a few years ago. Overall this boat looks good and operates great.If I could find an upholstery shop that could replace the interior before Memorial Day, this would be like a brand new boat and I would not be selling it.The trailer is in good condition but the brake actuator tongue doesnt work. I tow it with a 6 cylinder SUV with no problem, but it should be fixed. Tires are 2-years old. The trailer tows really nice and you will have no problem running this home at auction end.This boat can be tested in the water prior to auction close (scheduled in advance). Be advised that I have the boat listed locally and reserve the right to cancel the listing anytime. Complete refit/customization in 2017 - Transom was beefed up to 3" thick with high density Coosa Board layers, then stiffened more by attaching to sides and stringers. Custom 13 gallon livewell built into transom. This was originally a single inboard boat. Approximate 180 gallon custom aluminum fuel tank under console, custom aluminum outboard bracket built and installed, twin 2003 225 yamahas (4 stroke). Simrad GO9 with Simrad autopilot, and Simrad Stereo system, Simrad VHF. All wiring, plumbing and hardware replaced. In floor fish box with macerator discharge, in floor drink box, fresh water tank with pump, raw water pump. livewell pump. Custom paint includes entire hull in awlgrip silver white Then 6 coats of awlgrip clear, engines painted in silver white with Metallic green Pearl. Custom Dash with Blue LED backlighting, LED Spreadersm and courtesy lights. Custom upholstery. Towmaster triple axle aluminum trailer. Dual Odyssey Batteries, New switches and switch panels. New Lenco trim tabs. Performance is amazing, with included props, she will top out around 55 mph but can do around 40 on ONE ENGINE! We played with props and with other props saw 68 mph on top end. The 2017 refit saw over $37,000 invested, not including cost of boat and trailer. Engines were purchased in '17 with extensive compression tests and completely serviced by Barber Marine.
