My 2000 sundancer has a 90 evenrude on it and it has started beeping with the check engine light and oil light flashing. changed plugs, oil is full, runs great but still beeping. What do I do?

The newer boats have a diagnostic function on the muti function gauge. Mine (a 2010 with 1.8 liter engines) does anyway. I've never used it but have scrolled past it several times. You may be able to get more detail or the history of the warning there.
I have an 06 waverunner with a 160 hp mr1 engine that threw a warning about 30 mins into the day a few weeks ago. After recharging the battery (which hadn't been maintained in a few weeks) the warning finally turned off. Could it be that your battery may have been a little low when you started but charged to the appropriate level a few hours into the day? more
2007 Yamaha 225. Fired up the boat for the first time since Sept. and got a warning beep right off. The oil was fine, 1/2 Qt down so I topped it off to be sure. Couldn't see any water in the seperator. No indicators on the Yami tach except the motor trim indicator would not move no matter what position the motor was in. The beeper would quite as soon as you put it in gear so I ran it yesturday. Through the day sometimes it would start beeping in neutral sometimes not for a while, sometimes as soon as you put it there.
My warranty is up in June so I should move fast if I need to send it to the shop. But if it's something simple why deal with that? Any help please! more
