I've already done a search and see that most people just use the DAP (weldwood) original red can contact cement, but the stuff on the website and at Home Depot only says water resistant when dry. Is this the stuff people use, and even thought it says this, does it still holds up in water fine? I did a search for waterproof contact cement and found some PL brand (available at Menards if those are in your area) it is water based, but says it is waterproof, here is the link http://www.stickwithpl.com/products/. So I guess my question is has anyone used the PL brand stuff? And if not should I just go with the original DAP stuff even though it only says water resistant when dry?
