Lots of great info here . I have a question ,which fuel sending unit works with sc1000 gauges ? Fuel tank is 15 " deep and sender thats in it now is 13 " in length and very old ?? p/n thanks again . here

It really depends on if you want to be able to expand the system down the road (if you can afford to play with these things I will tell you right now once you start you will want to expand!) and how much info you are looking for. The system monitor has some great basic info but the best info is found with the tach and speedo configuration (or system view SC5000). each one is better than the previous as far as diagnostic info is concearned. My SC5000 display will tell me exactly which direct inject has stopped working (1-6) and what condition it is in (open/ short). Where as with the system monitor or tach you get "a direct injector has stopped working electrically".
