A concordance offers precise searches for specific words. Many Bible translations include a brief concordance section with the text. But if you’re looking to do a comprehensive word study, a dedicated resource is the way to go. In the app, the easiest way to use a concordance is with Lookup.

There are some big differences between a cross references and concordances! If you are looking for related themes and topics, a cross reference set is a great tool. But if you want to do word studies across Greek, Hebrew, and English, then a concordance will be a tremendous help.

If you have a boat or canoe, your watercraft and paddle or oars will be exposed to the elements and can deteriorate. To protect them and maintain them in good condition, you need to apply a coating of some sort. But what layer to apply?

The more regularly you apply spar urethane to your boats’ wooden parts, the more durable the surfaces will become. Also, you need to use fewer coats of spar urethane than spar marine varnish to achieve the desired results. [links]

But ensure that the coating is completely dry before you apply the next coat.

The Spar Platform consists of a large-diameter single vertical cylinder supporting a deck. It has a typical FP topside (surface deck with drilling and production equipment), three types of risers (production, drilling, and export), and a hull moored using a taut catenary system of 6–20 lines anchored into the sea floor. Spars are available in water depths up to 3,000 ft, although existing technology can extend refers to the analogy of a spar on a ship. In September 1996, Oryx Energy installed the first Spar production platform in the Gulf in 1,930 ft of water in Viosca knoll Block 826. This is a 770-ft long, 70-foot broad diameter cylindrical structure anchored vertically to the sea floor. more

The cylinder does not extend all the way to the seafloor, but instead is tethered to the bottom by a series of cables and lines. The large cylinder serves to stabilize the platform in the water, and allows for movement to absorb the force of potential hurricanes. The first Spar platform in the Gulf of Mexico was installed in September of 199—the cylinder measured 770 ft long and was 70 ft in diameter, and the platform operated in 1,930 ft of water. Similar to an iceberg, the majority of a spar facility is located beneath the water’s surface, providing the facility increased stability. more

SPAR platforms (such as the Brent SPAR platform) were previously used as floating storage offloading systems. The Devil’s Tower SPAR platform (Dominion Oil) is located in 5,610 ft (1,710 m) of water, in the Gulf of Mexico. The first Truss SPAR platforms were the Boomvang and Nansen SPAR platforms (Kerr-McGee). The first cell SPAR platform spar is the Red Hawk (Kerr-McGee). The Perdido platform (Shell Oil Company) is situated in the Gulf of Mexico (Perdido fold belt) on water at a depth of 8000. more
