Bending them too much can damage the wires beyond repair. Thus, increasing the risk of leaks and breaks. Also, make sure there aren’t any sharp objects around the wires that can cause them to break. here

In case your electric circuits are well-made and have sufficient protection. You still have to keep them at least 150mm away from each other. Electric control, switchboards, and sockets, consumer appliances all fall under these rules.

Answer: Generally, the standard amperage is between 15-20 amperes for US homes. 15 amps are used for smaller appliances, and 20 amps are used for larger ones.

Both gas and electricity are very volatile and need to be taken seriously. Any accident involving them could be detrimental. So, if you notice anything troublesome, always reach out for help. [links]

The worst enemy for your wires and gas pipes is obstructions. Although both the pipes and wires are fairly malleable, they are also susceptible to damage. If there are any sharp corners or edges, make sure you plan for the first. here

Those offices will have the codes which contain the information you need. Locally to me, not to code. Electrical boxes, switches, etc cannot be in the same vertical location within vertical studs. here

Codes vary widely around the country. Also between locals within your area. May be best to contact your local building and or safety department(s).

John, I appreciate your advice. Was your "it is not okay" in resonse to the closeness of the electric and gas lines or to the range and gas ball valves being on different levels?

The codes indicate and allow placement of electrical outlets, connection boxes, switches, near floor levels or above, etc, and where gaslines must be placed, etc.

Electrical anything or any type of connections etc, within the walls is allowed but not those type services within the same space between studs.

One may also ask, can you run electrical wire next to gas line? No one is allowing an energized wire to be in contact with a gas line - that is why the wiring has insulation around the conductors and is either in a sheath (such as NM cable) or in a raceway (single wiring such as TW, THW, THHN/THWN, etc.).

Correspondingly, can you run plumbing and electrical through the same hole? more

Plumbing and electrical in the same wall cavity are fine, even if they do touch. Remember, all electrical is insulated. Bare ground wires are OK too.

You CANNOT use copper plumbing pipe for electrical building wiring. [links]
