Deck is mahogany laid and caulked. The 8’ x 10’ self-bailing cockpit is painted mahogany. Trunk cabins have painted mahogany sides and the cabin roof is mahogany. Deck trim is teak. Hydraulic ram steering controls with a single cylinder ram at rudder. DAY BY DAY has a gray hull, black boottop and a black bottom. She has two operable windows. According to a recent survey, she is in above average condition.

300 hp Marine Power 4-cycle, V-8, 5.7L gas engine installed in 2006. 82 hours on the engine as of April 2013. Morse engine controls. Propeller has bronze 1 1/4" shaft. Cruising speed approximately 15 knots, maximum 20 knots. The engine is reportedly in excellent condition.
