This Downeaster is a 1986 28' BHM with a full keel. It has a fully mechanical Isuzu turbo diesel that runs absolutely flawless, it is matched up to a ZF gear with a 1-1/2 shaft and a 4 blade Nibral prop. The motor and gear were both replaced brand new in 2002 ( not remans ). The motor and gear have approximately 4,500 hours. The previous set up which was the exact same motor and gear went 14,000 hours with no major issues.
