One of the latest Eliminator Boats models to leave the Mira Loma, Calif., factory—a gorgeous 27 Speedster powered by twin Mercury Racing 450R engines—proved to be extremely photogenic last weekend during a photo shoot with Lake Havasu City, Ariz.-based photographer Tom Leigh of Tommy Gun Images.
The 27-foot open-bow catamaran—named Ware I Wanna Be—also has proved to be an outstanding performer as it accelerates without hesitation according to the owners and has already reached 119 mph on a hot 110-degree day on Lake Havasu without much testing and setup time. Of course, it has one of the most impressive interiors to date in an Eliminator, which nowadays is almost expected with each new build the West Coast custom manufacturer produces, as well a full stereo system from Wet Sounds and a custom Shadow Trailers trailer with upgraded rims to match the boat’s colors.
