Per the Seller: The Hatteras is mechanically sound and is currently on the hard in East Hampton NY and is readily accessible for viewing. As expected with a boat of this age, the cockpit decking will need to be replaced in the near future. A quick fix will buy a year or two. Overall the entire boat is in need of painting. You can see that there are some cosmetic blemishes that are shown in the photos. Mostly some sanding and painting. The teak swim platform is worn and has some cracked slats. Will need replacing. The rear bulkhead bottom is showing signs of rot where it meets the deck and will need some attention. Some of the areas where the rail stations are located likely will need some attention as well as the original equipment hatches. The electronics are older, but work. The main batteries were replaced in October 2020. The running gear is showing signs of wear and may need some attention.
