Germany's Auto Motor und Sport has seen the revised 19-race calendar, and the latest schedule does not feature previously scheduled races in New Jersey, Mexico and Korea. That's not a real surprise, but there is one surprise in that the season finale, previously set to be held in Brazil late in 2014 as per the last few seasons, will now be held in Abu Dhabi.
Formula One's controversial 22-race calendar for 2014 has shrunk by three races, according to word from the paddock at the U.S. Grand Prix at Austin, Texas.
"But the [Mexican] Grand Prix will be held in 2015," said correspondent Michael Schmidt. "The [Mexican] government has had to delay its subsidy because of the recent flooding, which is more important than a Grand Prix." here
The version of the schedule leaked at Austin also shows the 2014 F1 season wrapping up two weeks earlier than expected, on Nov. 16.

Sources at the Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix have confirmed that Mexico is definitely off. While F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone would not officially confirm to Autoweek today in that the race has been cancelled, he made it clear that the challenges of building a new pit complex in time for next November had proved insurmountable.
“New Jersey won't happen because they still haven't got the finance together for that,” said Ecclestone. “I put it on the calendar because they keep telling me it's all going to happen.” here
With Mexico gone there is now a gap of two free weekends between races at Austin and the season closer in Brazil, which could lead to some reshuffling.
