thank you for your feedback and information. I am going to paste the description of the boat below. It is a H220 LOADED. MSRP 67K, dealer selling for 44K. I offered 40K, price to include dealer adding thru hull exhaust. When dealer adds thru hull, is it captain's call, or straight thru hull? Here is info; [links]
Read some of the news reports about Genmar. They (Genmar themselves) petitioned the court to allow them to pay warranty claims so that they can maintain loyalty with customers and dealers. That actually speaks pretty well to the fact that Genmar plans to stick around for a long time. here
I doubt that the Glastron brand will go anywhere, you'll just need to decide if you think that Genmar will a) eliminate brands and b) if Four Winns would make the cut IF they did that. more
PLEASE read the following I just found on this forum. should I be concerned?
Re: Would you still buy a Four Winns?

My feeling on Four Winns is. they are a reasonable quality boat
builder offering good value for the money. As far as I understand,
Four Winns 'hand lays' all their hulls using the following composite

I know Four Winns has built a good reputation on the Liberator
hull design. justified or not, I'm not entirely sure, however, If
anyone has any thoughts, feelings, or opinions on Four Winns hulls
and their construction. please let's hear it. good or bad!!
I'm considering the purchase of a new 2008 Four Winns Hull.
Nothing terribly exotic. just something to please the wife
(she won't get in my STV anymore!!). The hull in question is a
2008 Horizon 190 (LOA 18'16") bow rider.
