There are three main regions of the Caribbean. The first are the Greater Antilles, home to Cuba, Jamaica and Puerto Rico, amongst others. Caribbean Island vacations that include these countries (with the notable exception of Cuba) often find a strong American influence. Although stingrays can be dangerous in the wild, visitors can interact safely with these graceful creatures at Stingray City in the Cayman Islands. The Atlantic Southern stingrays here are tame enough to eat from your hand, and they mingle around tourists, looking for free food.
