I have a FW Horizon 180 that doesn't have the seat bolster, which I need. I'm planning on making my own "insert" for the seat. Found a great place online (http://www.diyupholsterysupply.com/) where you can buy marine grade vinyl, seat foam, marine hidem etc and planning on getting some in. They said you could use any of their foams from 2.4 to 1.9 for boats but recommend the 2.4 as it will work better in the elements. Also suggested 40 lb as medium firmness. here

My 180 didn't come with the flip up seat cushion, but I would like to add one.
Has anyone performed a DIY flip up seat cushion upgrade for better visibility??
Not purchasing a new set, but fabricating something decent.
I looked online and didn't see a place to just purchase the cushion part.
I don't think the old style 80's Yellow Pages will to work for boating
