Having said that, The floor itself can be replaced by yourself. The structural members also but be aware that the materials required are pretty expensive. Just the wood alone for the floor will cost you $200 plus and then you need fibreglass. Figure $500 just to replace the floor. [links]

Product Options. Our Premium 24 Ounce carpet is what we use in every Bass Cat Boat. Heavier in weight and higher grade than any other boat manufacturer's carpet, our carpet will last longer than anything else available.

One may also ask, how do you remove old carpet from a boat? Lift the edge of your boat carpet by gently prying up a corner, using a putty knife and being careful not to gouge the floor beneath. Grasp the loosened edge of carpeting and pull upwards. Boat carpeting is installed with marine grade adhesive, so you will hear a ripping sound as the carpet releases from the glue.

We have been recarpeting boats for over 15 years and have acquired many templates from many different makes and models of boats.  We've found that models stay basically the same from year to year.  If you see your model, but not your year, call us and we can go over the layout to see if it will work.

If we don't have the template you need, you can simply send us your old carpets or a self-made template and we will custom cut your carpets for you in your color choice.  Of course we will give you an estimate prior to starting the job, so please include your contact information.  There is no obligation if you ship your carpets or template to us.  If you decide not to use us (which we can't imagine why you wouldn't), we will return your carpets to you at our cost.  What have you got to lose?  Our shipping address is:
