Pour the clean water into a bucket and add the alcohol and ammonia. Using a stirring stick, mix the ingredients and then pour the solution into a spray bottle.

You'll need a cheap garden sprayer, the $9 ones at HD or Lowes work fine. Mix 20% acid 3 parts water to 1 part acid. You can go stronger, but I've found this works fine.
What strength do most of you use for the muriatic solution and how long do you let it sit? Is there a way to add a little soap to the solution to make it adhere better not just run off the hull? more

the algae may seem counter-productive at first, but it will make the rinsing go
that much more smoothly. After giving your hull a rinse, you’ll be left with a clean, dry hull
