In order to install the CE Smith Keel Roller for Boat Trailers part # CE29505 on a trailer you will first need the Roller Shaft with Pal Nuts for Boat Trailer Rollers part # CE10727A. Then, all you need is a set of mounting brackets such as the CE Smith Universal-Fit Split Panel Brackets part # CE10500G and u-bolts. The correct u-bolts will come down to frame size. Hi, I have 1725 Lund rebel with shorlander trailer. I have issues centring the boat while loading. Boat is pushing to one side. I want to add self centring roller so need help with that and associated parts. Pictures are attached, please help with where to install the roller as well. Thanks

The roller will install in the center of the trailer on the horizontal crossmember. more

So my heads up tip is these self centering rollers can only go on in one direction to work correctly. Who would stop to think about which way the grooves are spinning? here
I was wondering why the bow always kicked to the right or left as I was cranking boat up when it hit the front roller. [links]
So I ordered another one from iboats and went to a welder to have him spot weld the pal nuts on.
I dropped it off to the welder with the new rod and the mounting plate. more
You don't think about figuring out the directions of the groves if you don't know they should only go on in one direction. They really should have a sticky on them showing the correct position before mounting because pal nuts don't give you a second chance. here

No matter how hard I try, I can't get my boat to sit completely centered on my trailer. It is always about 4” off center. Using guides on a deck boat is doable but you need to give yourself some wiggle room because the bow is so wide. It would be almost impossible in a strong current or wind to get between those guides.
Would they work on a deck boat with a rather flat bottom? here
Does anybody have experience with these? here
