It is a good idea to wipe over your entire vinyl deck with your sponge soaked in vinegar. Not all mildew will necessarily be visible immediately. Additionally, applying vinegar to your vinyl deck once per week can prevent mildew from coming back. Simply going after your current mildew and mildew stains may seem like a time-saver, but in the long run, it will cause you more problems. Take the time to clean your vinyl deck properly. [links]

If vinegar is not enough to remove the problematic mildew from your vinyl deck, you may need to bring in something harsher to do the job. Bleach is great at killing mildew. However, it is less than ideal because bleach is toxic, harsh, and gives off fumes. Fumes should not be a problem because you are working outside, but you should still do your best to avoid breathing any fumes despite your more than adequate ventilation. Additionally, you should wear gloves when working with bleach, and be sure to keep it away from children and pets. more

You can use an over the counter mildew remover and spray it on your siding. However, for severe mildew on the vinyl siding you may want to use a solution of bleach. Using a pail, mix one part bleach with three parts of water. Be careful not to splash the bleach onto your skin or clothing. here

Spray the solution onto the siding and scrub it with a sponge. Work the solution into the vinyl and let the bleach solution sit for a few minutes.

The first step to remove the mildew from your vinyl siding is to rinse it off. You can use a power washer connected to a hose for removing dirt, cobwebs, and grime that has set into the siding for the last few years. Once this is removed you will be able to better see where the mildew is and how bad it has gotten.

After several years of sitting in the weather, you may find some mildew buildup on vinyl siding that is wrapping your house. This mildew usually starts on the underside of the vinyl siding near the bottom of the house and can work its way onto the surface area of the vinyl. If not taken care of quickly, the siding can be pitted and even cracked. here

After a few minutes, use the pressure washer again to rinse off the cleaning solution. If there is still mildew on the siding, repet the process until clean.

Besides being an eyesore, mould and mildew stains on your vinyl flooring may cause health problems for yourself and your family members. Biological pollutants, like mould and mildew, account for more than 200,000 emergency room visits by asthma patients per year, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Remove and keep away this harmful substance by regularly cleaning your vinyl floor.

Bleach will not rot your threads if it is followed by a bit of clean water. Just don't apply STRAIGHT BLEACH and you'll be fine. I reduce it down to 1 cup per gallon and rinse with clean water. I have NEVER had a thread issue in any boat I've owned over the last 20+ years. here

It's the only cleaner to remove the black streaks on the side of my travel trailer. A RV dealer told me the other day that he buys it by the case. here

Nothing lasts forever, so is vinyl. But you can still work on prolonging its lifespan. One thing that you can do is not use bleach.

Again, don’t forget about narrow sections as they also need to be cleaned even though they’re a bit hidden. Prepare more than one piece of microfiber cloth. The number that you may need depends on the seats’ color and their condition. more

You don’t have to give up as there’s another way of eliminating the mildew. It can be called your ‘last resort’ as it will dismiss the stubborn mildew for good. here
