This is hard to put in writing so look at my attached funny drawing. Hook trailer to car so tongue is held in place by the ball. Position trailer so bend in tongue is against an immovable object such as a steel pole or corner of your garage or building if it is concrete or brick. Go to back of trailer and push sideways so bend in tongue is pushed against the pole or building. If you push sideways on the back of the trailer the leverage will multiply the force put on the tongue where it contacts the pole or building.

The hardest part will be finding a spot where you can fit the car and the trailer against a suitable pole or building. If you have no good spot around the house you may want to find a large empty parking lot with lots of sturdy light poles. here

I have a 1965 FIeld and Stream trailer which I have taken all the way down to the frame. One reason I decided to do a full frame up was the relatively insubstantial frame and floor. It was lucky that I did. after getting the floor off, I found that the front L-bracket crossmember was broken

I had the welder back out, and his recommendation is to heat up a triangular area near the bend, which he thinks will result in the frame bending the opposite when it cools and contracts. He would then box in the frame in this area with 1/4" bar stock.

After he left, I did some measuring of the final frame, only to find that it was sagged a bit at the front crossmember, resulting in the tongue lifting about 2-3 inches. If you look straight down on the frame, you can see that it is slightly bowed out on the top, resulting in the lift. There are no cracks in the main frame and now the crossmember is welded to the inside of the frame halfway down the C-channel, but it still bothers me.

Once it has been bent, it has already been weakened. The only way to really fix it would be to take it somewhere and have that section cut off and a new tube extension welded on. Or, if they could get it straightened back out, welding some scab plates on to box in the area that was previously bent.

If you are on a personal connection, like at home, you can run an anti-virus scan on your device to make sure it is not infected with malware.

If you are at an office or shared network, you can ask the network administrator to run a scan across the network looking for misconfigured or infected devices.
