Beyond that, there are several key considerations you should make when searching for a good fishing boat. Do you want a small fishing boat that is lightweight and portable, or do you need something larger that will be able to fit all of your fishing equipment? What kind of water are you fishing? If you’re fishing fast-flowing rivers, you need something that will drift well, but if you’re fishing lakes, you need something that will get around easily. How many people do you plan to fish with? Some boats are small enough that they only fit one person. Do you want an inflatable fishing boat that you can break down for storage, or do you want an aluminum fishing boat that you’ll store in the shed? Have answers to these questions before pulling the trigger on a new watercraft.

I am having a difficult time researching the height/length/width dimensions of a 26' boat when sitting on a trailer (or any similar boat for that matter). We are thinking about moving up from a 21' open bow Chaparral to a 26' cuddy (likely Sea Ray 260 Sundancer, with arch), and I'd like to know the dimensions needed to fit this (or similar boat) into a garage for out of water storage. Any help (short of me taking a tape measure to a stranger's boat)??

Also, we currently use a Ford Expedition to tow the 210 Chaparral, and assume this will be plenty of vehicle to tow the 26'. Any feedback from experience??
Thanks! [links]

It’s also excellent in staying tough against different kinds of weather. Thus, you can never go wrong with getting it as your outdoor storage boat cover. It has survived rain, strong wind, and even storms. Hence, I didn’t need to make adjustments to stop pooling.

The fabrics that are perfect as boat cover for outdoor storage are vinyl, acrylic, canvas, polyester, poly-cotton, and more. You may also check the denier rating to confirm its reliability. Denier is the linear mass density of fibers in a fabric. A higher rating means more fibers on the cover.

Measure your boat’s length and width so you can pick the cover with a size that can fully cover your boat. It will ensure that there’s enough protection against harmful outdoor elements. Don’t forget to include aftermarket extensions. But you don’t have to include rails, seats, and windshields when checking the length and width.

In winter, no cold-cracking occurs. Even though I use it all year round, tearing and fading don’t happen. When not in use, you can place it in the free storage bag on every purchase. here
