The sister of 90 Day Fiancé star Juliana is now using the car that Michael unknowingly paid for as a cab in her home country of Brazil.
The K-1 visa process is an arduous one. Typically, it can take couples two to three months to get approved. However, that's if everything runs smoothly. In Juliana's case, there were concerns from her country's consulate that she might have been involved in nefarious activities prior to meeting Michael, and was using the K-1 visa as a ruse for prostitution. Since Juliana is a young woman from a poor country, that seemed to elicit concern, thus delaying the process in her case. Typically, it's easier for fiancés to come to the United States, as opposed to applying for a spousal visa, because it's a quicker process. However, Juliana broke her silence about the incident on Sunday's episode. Michael brought up the car and she was asked outright why she would purchase a vehicle without his permission. Juliana explained that the K-1 visa process wasn't going as either of them had planned. She started to worry that she wouldn't be able to get to America after all. So, she purchased a car for herself as a safety net. When Michael asked where the car was, Juliana responded that she gifted it to her sister who was using it as a taxi cab. The admission was punctuated with Juliana stating, "I'm so stupid."
