Sea Fox is a derivative of the old Renken Boats, and currently owned by one of the Renken descendents. I hear rumors of a partner, but not sure of that. Renken went out of business in the '80's, but the Renken boys came back with a boat I think they called a Legacy. First boat they produced was a copy of a Key West 1720. I actually visited their plant when they were prepping that hull to make a mold off of it. Not really fair play, but lots of that going on in this industry. In fact, the 1720 was one of the most copied boats ever for years. Cobia copied it too among others. Turned out there was some dispute of the Legacy name best I remember and they changed the name to something else I forget, and then moved on to Sea Fox. Again I'm not sure of the reasons for the name changes but there have been several through the years. [links]

Isn't (or was) Sea Fox the same ownership as the now defunct Sunbird Boats ? I won't comment on Sunbird quality, as my choice of words would not be appropriate on a pubic forum ! [links]
CC Advantages:
More usable space where people want to be
More seating
360 degree fishability
Easier to clean (don't have to climb around up front)
Less maintenance to keep all the cabin bits in top shape
Some of the attention to detail isn't the best but a mass produced boat never is. here
I killed Nemo.
And really HATE Seals.
Pass the butter.
Also, every dealer (3) I talked to said their manufacturers are phasing out more and more walk-arounds because CC's are selling at a much higher rate with the family features being added.
Open to thoughts on it though, I've read just about every CC vs Walk around vs Pilot house post on the internet.
That's actually something I've been wrestling with. I've had a cuddy a couple times in the past and it was used 0 times and I fished with a lot of different people. It also cut off half the usable space on the boat. [links]
There is nothing wrong with a Commodore at all. It just isnt a BMW. And no, I dont own a BMW (instead a 20 year old Landcruiser). [links]
I own a 2006 Seafox 25.7 Ft.
The KeyWest 2300 for sale on this site looks to be a good buy, and considering all the hard work of importing has been done it would be wise to at least have a look at it (no affiliation), but you may be looking for the Walkaround model. [links]

Fishing from the Atlantic Highlands has it's advantages, like easy access to Sandy Hook and the deep channels in the Raritan Bay . These spots have traditionally produced more striped bass than any other place in New Jersey , due to the presence of the Raritan & Hudson Rivers. The Sea Fox fishes for Striped Bass every Spring & Fall as the fish migrate from the rivers and into the bays. Great spots like "Flynn's Knoll", "Roamer Shoals", "Sandy Hook Channel", "The Rip" and "Chapel Hill", just to name a few. [links]
