Does leaving the trim release screw open over night bleed air out of the trim system? I still have a bunch of air that will not escape here

Here's a pic of the bottle. They say to fill it and move the engine up and down with the cap off but when I move this trim down the bottle moves with it and dumps out the fluid so I am at a loss now. is there a bleed screw?

no problems with it i just wanted to make sure there was enough fluid in it when i took the cap off it came pouring out. I tried to re fill it and the engine goes up and down but it makes a horrible noise now when i stop it going down and start it again.

My electric tilt and trim motor for a 1900 70hp Johnson Tracker engine took a dump which means my entire tilt and trim assembly had to be removed from the boat. Since I have the unit off the boat, I am considering replacing the tilt and trim hydraulic fluid.
