The Bombardier 8000, expected to launch by 2017, has the capability to fly 7,900 nautical miles or 14,631 km nonstop, at a cruise speed of mach 0.85. That means you can travel nonstop from Hong Kong to New York, Sydney to Los Angeles, and other places within hours. The Bombardier 8000 is built with a payload capacity of 5,700 lbs and seats for 13 passengers. It produces 2,230 more lbf of thrust than an average long-range large private jet.
Gulfstream Aerospace introduced the G650ER as an extended-range version of the G650. Capable of carrying 4,000 pounds of more fuel compared to its predecessor, the private jet offers a maximum flying range of 7,500 nautical miles, which is 500 nautical miles more than the G650. The ultra-long range jet can seat up to a maximum of 19 passengers, making it an ideal private charter for those who travel in larger groups. The G650ER has a ceiling range of 51,000 ft and a maximum speed of approximately 710 mph.
The Bombardier 7000, expected to hit the market by 2018, takes the third place in the list for its remarkable range of 7,300 nautical miles. The ultra long-range private jet offers a 20 percent larger cabin than Bombardier’s other models in the same category, making it an ideal package for people who are looking for a spacious private jet. According to the data analyzed by Private Jet Card Comparisons the private jet with the longest range is the Gulfstream G650, with a range of 7,825 miles followed by the Gulfstream G550 at 7,469 miles. Bombardier’s Global Express 6000 has a range of 7,228 statue miles. Tokyo to New York is 6,737 miles while Los Angeles to Athens is 6,889 if you are thinking about hopping to the Med for a luxury vacation or to meet up with your yacht. Of course, there is a myriad of factors such as temperature, runway length, airport elevation, winds and weather which impact the numbers. here
Near the end of the list is the Beechcraft King Air 350i, not a jet but a turboprop, with a range of 690 miles. However, if you live in New York and want to go to South Bend, Indiana to see a University of Notre Dame football game, you’re in luck. The flight distance is 640 miles. The King Air 350i is the backbone of the WheelsUp fleet.
Which private jet has the longest range? For the purpose of this exercise, we did not look at airliner sized private jets such as the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) or Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ). We also looked for data that would show range based on full capacity and NBAA IFR fuel reserves required from possible diversion at the destination airport, typically 45 minutes. here
