I said they like to replace that as a FRU, a lot less thinking for them.
Fewer callbacks.
If it is under warranty, don't screw with it. The warranty follows the motor serial number so I am not sure what you have to transfer.

Anyway the motor runs the exact same. Just off of idle, it loses power and runs like crap and till it perks up a few minutes later. I continue to believe its a fuel pump issue and I am confident the dealer never considered or diagnosed it.

8/10 /12 Look an current hose mercury is selling for use in the fuel module to the fuel regulator. Talked to exp mech. a the marine shop. At this NC coast marine business they have sold 16 kits. He has seen lots of burst hose. The current hose is the same material but thicker. He has not seen and of those hose burst. Has to heat hose to shape it to fit in the "horse shoe" required. Much thicker hose so wont burst but "may harden over time" it is still some type like Plex hose.
Has not see any of them burst. [links]

Only way fuel can get in a cylinder on a EFI is a stuck injector, the crankcase filling will not do it. I would change my user name Blackbird. more

I ordered both the electric and low pressure fuel pumps with a new strainer for the electric pump. The pumps arrived in less time than estimated. The strainer was not included. I emailed your company and received a quick reply that the strainer would be shipped. I received it within a few days no questions asked. Wonderful service!! Thank you. Kevin in Missouri more
