I have a x28 high Definition not sure if it will work for you.Had it on another boat I use to have and sold the boat but the depth finder got left in the closet an 2 years later I found it.I looked for a transducer but the cost was way more than I wanted to spend, this unit works fine. not sure how they compare too the x65.Maybe look on e-bay more

I have a X-85 and i have sent it back three times 100.00 each time i sent it! You would turn it on and then it would just go off like you pulled a fuse. Bought a Garmin 240 and have had it 3 years with zero problems! I would buy garmin next time.
Anybody know much about Garmin fishfinders with gps?

I don't own an x65, but a 330c and a 332c. I have returned the 330c twice and now the 332c is at Lowrance still under warranty. I have had the same problem with the units turning on by themselves and flashing erraticly. At the very least, this is a major inconvenience. If I knew for sure that Eagle was less problematic, I would switch manufacturers. Best of luck!
Eagle is made by Lowrance, I've have both and did recently send a X135 Lowrance back to them and they sent me a new one that works great. However after reading all of this, I guess they are having some problems. I need to reconsider buying the 337 gps Lowrance I had planned on buying.

1999 Stratos just over 100 hrs since new, used very little and keep under shed with boat cover, no chips or deep scratches, this boat will run 60 mph and gives a smooth ride even in rough water. I'm second owner150 Evinrude fuel injected motor with just over 100 hrs half the hrs are at an idle speed. Has Hummingbird 1761 fish and depth at bowIssues, threads coming loose on drivers seat, tack stopped working last trip, mechanic said probably loose wire or fuse, I can't get under to check it out here
