Here is a file for troubleshooting the trim, but at the end of it there is a wiring diagram that should help. here
Hello, I am new to the Forum but it looks to me like a great place where boaters help other boaters.

ENGINE ROOM
The 1800 SR3 is powered by a 4.3lt 190hp MerCruiser sterndrive, while the 1900 SR3 was fitted with the bigger 5lt 220hp unit. [links]
Both boats are available in four colour schemes: red/white, black/white, yellow/white and blue/white, so there’s plenty of scope to personalise a boat to suit your own tastes.
MAXUM PRO SYSTEM
Maxum boats are built for action. To stand up to the elements, and your unique sense of adventure, Maxum has developed The PRO System.
Keep the power up to them in the chop and they slice through the water cleanly and don’t bang. It’s a bit like driving a car over corrugations, if you keep your speed up it seems to soften the ride. here
The gunwale on these boats are also quite high, which helps keep all secure and dry and will also allow this boat to handle a bit of rough water. Trips across our bigger harbours and bays, and limited off shore excursions, are well within the capabilities of these excellent all-round boats.
Whether you’re into skiing, wakeboarding, water toys, or simply cruising about in comfort, there’s a bowrider model to suit. Bowriders are multi-purpose vessel; you can even fish out of them at a pinch.

My thoughts are to cut an oval in the upper rear wall of the ski locker large enough for my flat hand to fit so I can pass the lower plate through to mount the pylon, then re-glass the opening edges to prevent water damage. [links]
As I will be mounting a kicker bracket/motor I will not longer be able to use the factory eye to pull skiers/tubers (the kicker will be in the way of the rope when turning to that side).
I'm thinking of mounting the pylon right in front of the motor cover latch in the rear floor of the boat. To increase the strength of that floor mount I want to put a stainless or aluminum plate below the floor through which the mounting bolts will go. The area in question is not accessible. The rear of the ski locker is enclosed with the exception of the bottom drain hole and the area is not accessible from the motor area.
Does anyone know if that small area is open, free and clear under the floor or is there a central stringer in there that would block mounting a plate that would be perhaps 6-8 inches square? here
Any help? I'm aware of the pylon pulling a tube controversy, that is why I want to beef up the mount. I'm pulling my 7 and 9 year old girls on single tubes (2 at a time). They ski as well (almost zero pull) and I want to be able to pull adults (either skis or wakeboards).
