I have good spark and fresh gas in the tank. I cleaned the sediment bowl and removed and cleaned the carburetor including the main jet and sediment screen as well as the discharge nozzle, and idle tube. I also cleaned the needle valve and adjusted the float height. I have replaced the fuel bowl gasket and carburetor gasket. The choke and throttle mechanisms seem to be working fine. Overall the carburetor seemed clean. I also cleaned the air cleaner, replaced the plugs and charged the battery.

Well, I am not an expert.. but I think you pretty much have guaranteed that you have all of the right combinations that you need to start. You got spark, you got air and you got fuel. [links]

With the update of the forum software, which had not happened in the last four years so was very necessary, the existing anti-spam software was no longer compatible. We now have a different anti-spam filter which is very effective but sometimes is a little too enthusiastic.
