The most popular marina in Stuart is Sunset Bay Marina & Anchorage located on the deep-water St Lucie River at the foot of the Roosevelt Bridge. The Stuart Boat Show, owned by the MIATC (Marine Industries Association of the Treasure Coast, a non-profit org.), is held the second weekend in January and has grown in popularity every year since its inception. The Stuart Boat Show features new and brokerage boats in-water and on-land trailers, besides top-notch marine equipment manufacturers and related lifestyle vendors. Another major annual event is the Port Salerno Seafood Festival, held the 4th Saturday in January and was originated by the Port Salerno Commercial Fishing Fleet. This event draws about 30,000 attendees to this waterfront locale and is a great event for families, featuring food and fun, Treasure Coast Wildlife’s birds, a pirate ship, vendors and more!
